ABOUT ME
I am a landscape photographer based in the breathtaking Central Coast of Australia, I'm passionate about capturing the natural beauty of our landscapes. Whilst I am based on The Central Coast, I have a deep love for travel and love capturing new places. My favourite places to photograph were the tall snow capped mountains in New Zealand. My photography journey started at age 11 with an old Canon 30D, and over the years, I've honed my skills and built a strong portfolio of my work. I am driven now more than ever to get my work out there, and build my portfolio so others can enjoy the beauty of our natural world.
Recently, I've started selling prints, sharing the beauty of our landscapes with a broader audience. Additionally, I've obtained a CASA Accreditation, ensuring professionalism and safety in my drone photography. Beyond photography, I create cinematic films for my YouTube channel, offering viewers a glimpse into the stunning landscapes that I capture.
MY GEAR
My gear has evolved overtime from just an old Canon DLSR with a nifty fifty, to now shooting on the Canon Mirrorless System. Now I shoot on a Canon EOS R8 and a Canon EOS R5 with an EF 24-70 and a 17-40. I chose Canons Mirrorless over other systems becuase of its ergonomic and lightweight feel. Their image quality and colour science is also amazing. I do not plan on switching anytime soon. My editing software of choice is Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop and Davinci Resolve Studio for video editing.
I use a DJI Mavic 3 to capture my aerial photography and videography. This drone is an absolute workhorse and it tackles anything i throw at it, allowing me to capture stunning footage in even the most challenging conditions.
I use the legenday Shimoda Explore V2 30L backpack to store all my gear. It is comfortable and extremely high quality. It is also capable of carrying a tripod on the side. I use an Ulanzi MT-55 Travel tripod for my travel photography as it is small and lightweight. For other projects that do not require travelling I use a ManFrotto Tripod. It’s much larger, steadier and robust.
