JAPAN

During Febuary of 2025 I took a two and a half week trip to Japan. Visiting Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Mt. Fuji and Hakuba, I captured some of the best images of any location i’ve been to.

JAGGED RIDGES

A moody scene of the side of a mountain. The low clouds and harsh lighting made for a very dramatic scene.

VALLEY RIVER

A river flowing through a small valley within Hakuba.

PINE RIDGE

A mountain ridge dotted with pine trees.

PINE RAYS

Rays of lighting peircing the dense pine trees. This scene was incredible to witness, and the light rays were enhanced by snow falling off the tree branches.

CLOUD BLANKET

A mountainous landscape covered in pine trees blanketed by a thick layer of clouds. A part of the mountains were lit up by a small seperation in the clouds.

IWATAKE RIDGELINE

The view of the ridgeline from the back of Iwatake. The perfect place to enjoy a coffee at the Mountain Harbour Bakery.

DRAMATIC MOUNTAINSIDE

The lighting in this scene was particularly striking, it helped to enhance the smaller details on the mountain and assisted in creating this moody mountain scene.

Mountains completely covered in a thick cloud layer, causing dramatic moody lighting.

3 Large ridges all next to eachother on the side of a mountain, combined with great lighting that highlights them.

Shibuya Scramble at night time. The neon lights plastered on the buildings adds a nice touch of colour.
